Ticketing

• What is qtix?
  qtix is a Queensland-based ticketing services provider that is owned and operated by QPAC. Ticket sales are available by phone and mail as well as in person at the qtix Box Office, QPAC and other ticket outlets.  Tickets are available online at www.outoftheboxfestival.com.au
  
  
• What shows are on and what are their prices and seating layouts?
  You can use the event search facility on this website to choose shows by keywords, interests or date ranges. Seating layout information is available here. The seating layout is also available to view while you are buying your tickets online.
  
  
• How can I get information about Out of the Box events?
  You can register online for Out of the Box eNews, to keep you up to date with Out of the Box events, special offers and priority offers that may be available during the festival. The Out of the Box website provides information of shows on sale and allows you to book online.
  
• Why can’t I change my date/time/performance?
  It is a condition of sale that there are no cancellations, exchanges or refunds once a purchase has been made.
  
  
• Can I choose my seat?
  When booking online for events that are not general admission, you will be offered to select the seats you would like to sit in by clicking on the seating plan. If you wish to book over the phone you can call one of our qtix Box Office operators on 136 246 between 9.00am and 8.30pm Monday to Saturday.
  
  
• I’ve lost my tickets, what do I do?
  Call one of our qtix Box Office operators on 136 246 with your booking reference number and explain what has happened. They will arrange for a Lost Ticket Pass (replacement tickets) to be issued to you on the day of the performance only, which can be collected from the Box Office.

• Where is QPAC? And how do I get into the car park?
  QPAC is located on the corner of Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Bank. The QPAC car park is located on the river side of the building on Little Stanley Street and can be accessed via either Melbourne or Russell Streets or Stanley Place. More information on how to get here.

Around QPAC

• How do I find my venue?
  The Lyric Theatre and Concert Hall are at the Melbourne Street end of the building; the Cremorne Theatre is on the side facing the Brisbane River and the Playhouse is at the South Bank end of the building, adjacent to the Wheel of Brisbane. More information on how to find your venue.
  
• Where is the Box Office?
  The main Box Office is on the first level through the main entrance at the front of the building (facing Melbourne Street). The Box Office is open from 9.00am to 8.30pm Monday to Saturday or one hour prior to a performance.
  If you have chosen to collect your tickets from Box Office and you are collecting your tickets more than one hour before your show, the tickets will be available from the main Box Office. You can also use this Box Office for collection of tickets to workshops and performances in the Concert Hall or Lyric Theatre within an hour of your performance start time.
  If you are seeing a show in the Playhouse or Cremorne Theatre, State Library of Queensland, GoMA, Queensland Art Gallery or Queensland Mueum, you can collect your tickets from the box office at your event venue within an hour of your performance start time.
  
  
• Do you have ATMs?
  There is an ANZ Bank ATM located near the main ground floor entrance to QPAC, adjacent to the Cascade Court.

In your theatre

• When are the foyers open?
  Generally foyers are open one hour prior to performance start time.
  
  
• How do I find my door?
  Each venue has doors numbered from 1 onwards. Please check your ticket carefully for the correct venue and door number. The Concert Hall and Lyric Theatre share the main foyer off Melbourne Street. On the left hand side as you come up the stairs, you will find the even numbered doors for the Lyric Theatre, while on the right hand side, you will find the odd numbered doors for the Concert Hall. To find the even numbered doors for the Concert Hall, cross the foyer to the Grey Street (Railway) side of the building. To find the odd numbered doors for the Lyric Theatre, cross the foyer to the river side of the building. If you are unsure of how to find your door, please ask an usher.
  
  
• Can I take photographs or make recordings during the performance?
  Due to copyright restrictions, it is not permitted to take any photos or make any recordings of productions.

Using this website

• Why can’t I login to my account?
  Ensure you have registered with Out of the Box, qtix or QPAC, make sure all spelling is correct. If you have forgotten your password you can request to have it emailed to you simply by entering your email address on the password request page. If you are still having problems, call one of our Box Office operators on 136 246 and they can investigate further.
  
  
• I’ve put in credit card info but have not received a confirmation email, has my booking gone through?
  Do not put your credit card number again as you may be charged twice. Call Box Office straight away on 136 246 and the operator can check whether your card has been charged, and if not make the booking for you.
  
  
• How do I get back to the home page?
  Simply click on the banner at the top of the page.
  
  
• I've tried to set up a new account, but it's telling me that I'm already a member
  This is probably because you have an existing qtix or QPAC account. If you don't remember having set up an account, go to password request page. Follow the prompts and your existing password will be emailed to you. If you have any further problems, please call our Box Office on 136 246.
  
  
• I get a warning message when I try to select my seat
  You are trying to select a seat that leaves one or three seats vacant beside you. Please try again by selecting a coloured square next to a grey (unavailable) square, without leaving a vacant seat.
